Mike over at winerywebsitereport is sounding the horn for this very worthwhile event in Sonoma at the end of the month. I’m especially excited due to the calvacade of great pinot producers from the Russian River that will be there allowing visitors the chance to barrel taste and bid on their new vintages.

Some names on the list to check out: Dutton RAnch, Dutton Goldfield, TR Elliot, Gary Farrell, our good friends at Gloria Ferrer, goldridgepinot, Halleck (whove been getting nice press lately), J, our neighbor Joseph Swan, Olivet Lane (their 04 pinot is just terrific, with a wonderful floral nose), Paul Hobbs and othjers.
