UPDATE: Check out my post here for the results of the tasting.
From the CIA website:
This year’s event will focus on Pinot Noir, one of the world’s most prized and difficult varietals. Mr. Parker has chosen a dozen examples of Pinot Noir and red Burgundy, which he will share in a blind tasting with the participants.
“Pinot Noir is widely considered a most elusive, fascinating, and sensual red grape, says Karen MacNeil, chair of professional wine studies at the CIA at Greystone. “Robert Parker, Jr. is renowned for his wine knowledge and incredible palate. Put the two together and you have the makings of a historic tasting that no serious wine lover will want to miss.
The date is October 26th. 100 seats available. Proceeds go to charity.
Sounds like good times to me. Count me in.
