Yeah, Miles the walking and talking contradiction that with that one phrase negatively influenced Merlot sales. Unfortunately, many people did not realize what was in his prized bottle, or they might have considered him a fraud and kept on purchasing Merlot.
I guess if animals on a label can influence decision to buy, so can a great movie about wine and relationships influence decision to not buy.
I happen to be a big fan of Merlot. Miles didn’t know he liked a merlot the whole time. So true.
