Jeff from Good Grape and Inertia sends along this photo of him in front of Lambeau field in Wisconsin. Great shot of Jeff and the home of the frozen tundra. I can almost hear the voice of NFL films, Harry Kalas, intoning the words.
Here’s how Jeff tells it:
In a “Where’s Waldo” kind of way with the t-shirt, I took my picture this past Thursday on a quick jaunt up to Green Bay, Wisconsin to take in a game on the “Frozen Tundra” of Lambeau Field.
My brother, brother-in-law and I go to a different NFL stadium every year to watch a game. Lambeau was the choice this year in an attempt to maybe see Brett Favre’s last home game before he retires. My brother and I came from Indianapolis and my brother-in-law came up from Atlanta.
I’m not sure if Favre will retire, but Pinot Blogger was representing at the game. They make you queue up outside the stadium before they let you into the game. So, I was having my picture taken in frigid weather with about a 1000 other bundled-up onlookers wondering why I was removing clothes for a picture. The mirthful grimace on my face in the picture? That’s me very cold, with a long john’s thermal shirt underneath … All in the name of some Pinot goodness.
Thanks again Jeff! You’ve been added to the free samples list.
