Due to unexpected demand and multiple requests, I’ve gone ahead and made the Robert Parker’s Bitch shirt available for purchase.
All proceeds go to the Endangered Feral Unicorn Preservation Fund.
In lieu of a FAQ and in the interest of full transparency, here are some tweets I posted regarding the announcement.
Q: Are you personally benefiting from the sales of these shirts?

Q: I find the feral unicorn pairs well with Syrah. Do you have any recommendations?

Q: I’m worried about the feral unicorn and I want to help!

Some have expressed concern that I’m stretching myself too thin. Managing the vineyard, building a winery and developing Mac and iPhone apps, as well as my other responsibilities seems to them untenable.
I understand and appreciate your concerns. Thank you for your heartfelt expressions of love and sympathy. But I couldn’t close my eyes to the facts.
The fact is that today, in March 2009, the only thing rarer than a California wine that Alice Feiring enjoys is the precious feral unicorn.
My mission is clear.
Support the cause. Buy now.
UPDATE:
Instead of feral unicorn on your plate tonight, the EFUPF humbly suggests you consider Shmeat. You too can make a difference.

I give high marks for your dedication to conserve this tasty treat. I think we must raise the bar and treat the Vegans to such a glorious meal. For me I like the little knuckles braised in a miso sauce paired with a ripe California Zinfandel, Why I dragged the Vegans in I just don’t know, Maybe the PETA people would like a knuckle to gnaw on. Next let’s search the hills for the Jabberwocky, I’m sure the ham on him would be delicious!

Anything PETA backs, I am all for… wait… I mean against… Keep up the great work. The video was visually appealing, informative and hilarious; as is this posting. I have been forwarding it to many people!
